The Sun Always Rises

Just as the sun always rises, a better run follows a bad one. Today's run was better all round - cooler, flatter, shorter, faster, fresher. On the grand scale of running, it was nothing special - 20km @ 4.45min/km pace - but after my shocker yesterday it was fab. Not only that .... my tennis was better this afternoon too - ie, better than last Sunday. Win-Win! And a blog entry with no whinging! Yey! Have a great week everyone.

Every day above ground helps make a good week. Counting down the days now, getting excited ?

Excited yes. Scared YES!!!

This could be my one and only long ultra. One thing is for sure, it will definitely be my one and only "carry all your own stuff" ultra. What was I thinking?!?!?!

Stay with the short ultras, under 100 kms with drink stations every 10 kms. If we actually thought about entering these events, we would be the same as the 99.999999% of the human race. We are different, just get out there and enjoy the day, because you can. It's a learning experience.

You were thinking it'd be fun, and great scenery to look at for 10 hours or so. Don't forget to pack a book to read while you're having lunch ;)
