It was a no fun run for me this morning - too hot, too hilly, too far, too slow, too tired. Ugh! Perhaps all those "toos" are in the wrong order. I think I started too tired and the rest just followed suit.
But, out of my no fun run came three positives: (1) I still got it done, no quitting; (2) the hydration pack was at race weight and bearable; and (3) I tried some different nutrition which my tummy tolerated well.
So, a no fun run might feel bad but have some good aspects. Always look on the bright side.
