UK 100km?

According to the newspaper and various running sites, I've been selected as part of the Australian team to run the Commonwealth 100km in Keswick, UK in September. As flattering as that may be, there's a big difference and a long way to go, between being selected and actually getting there and then running 100km. At this stage, for a myriad of complex reasons, it is unlikely that I will be a starter in the UK.

Bugger. That would have been a good one for a beer bet.

Seriously though, bit of a shame not to be wearing the green and gold.

Disappointed it won't happen, maybe next year. Ewen would have had to buy warm beer.

Just read on coolrunning that the " Tan" run has been cancelled due to Melbourne Council requiring a fee to be paid by the organisers. Must have been a big fee. Late entry for Qld, still time? 6 or 12 hour ?
