Today is the first day of winter. Brrr......
My early am runs have been dark starts for at least the last 3-4 weeks but the turning of the calendar today gave me a licence to buy myself a new winter "present to self" - ie, a new ultra light, ultra bright head lamp. It is WAY smaller and lighter and brighter and better than my old one (hmmmm ..... define "old" ..... ie, 12months old). Come on guys ... the new one was just too cute and cool to pass up. I can't wait to give it a go first thing tomorrow. It might even make me run faster (yeah ... right)? One more sleep and I get to try it out. So ..... goodnight.

How did the new head lamp thingy go?
Not sure "cute" is a good reason, but if it's bright enough to stop you from "doing a CJ", then yes!
