Last Event - Crewing @ C2K #5

For the 5th year in a row I finished my running events for the year by crewing at C2K - ie, 240km ultra marathon from Eden at the south coast to the top of Mt Kosciuszko & back to the base of Mt Kosciuszko. This year I crewed for my running mate, Rob, from WA again; having also crewed for him @ C2K in 2013 & at the Great North Walk (GNW) 100miler a couple of months ago. We were blessed with great weather and everything went like clockwork. Rob ran an awesome, well measured race, bettering his 2013 C2K performance and running a 100mile PB mid event (by ~2 hours!!). The other guys on the crew added to this year's crewing being a smooth and very fun operation. Here we all are @ the top of Kosci savouring the moment amid our collective fatigue.

After a very full year of running, family, work, uni & Ultramag it is now time to relax, reflect and prepare for 2016. I hope everyone has a safe and restful break over Xmas/New Year, & comes back refreshed & raring to do some great running in 2016.
